SocialBoost – is the digital development organization that connects start-up community and tech expertise with the government to solve national challenges and create breakthroughs for developing economies. SocialBoost both builds and trains the community of impact start-ups and SMEs and develops its own IT products with the help of in-house IT team.

In 2015, SocialBoost evangelized, promoted, and facilitated the implementation of Open Data reform in Ukraine that was followed by a development of the new market and the cascade of impact and civic tech start-ups. The impact on the economy is over $700M and projected to be 0.84% of GDP.

In 2016, created the 1991 incubation program for start-ups that lead to a whole new paradigm of governments setting up challenges for tech market and getting a wave of domestic start-ups that form PPPs and resolve national issues having high impact on society and economy. Alumni start-ups cumulatively raised over $10M in seed funding after 1991 programs.

In 2017, SocialBoost launched 1991 Civic Tech Center and it’s Donbass version 1991 Mariupol to facilitate the corresponding community in Eastern Europe and Eastern Ukraine with educational and partnership programs. Now over 50 companies were formed as the result of PPPs.

In late 2017, SocialBoost launched DOSVIT platform – one-stop shop for 16 digital services that contributes to decentralization and is being used by over 100 consolidated communities in Ukraine and over 1M users.

In 2018, SocialBoost has developed and launched participatory budgeting system that is being used by over 3.5M people and redistributes over UAH0.5bn of public funds by citizens themselves.

In 2020, SocialBoost has launched Cyber-accelerator to help IT market to contribute to the cyber resilience of Ukrainian government in the face of growing international cyber threats.
